Bread pudding recipe with almonds and caramel sauce

This bread pudding recipe is very delicious with a flavor of almonds and caramel sauce. It is also easy to make and serve because it will take just 10 minutes to prepare and 40 minutes to bake. It is yummy when served with caramel sauce. Try out this delicious bread pudding with almonds and caramel sauce.

INGREDIENTS:

6 Slices of bread
4 Cups milk or skim milk
1 Cup brown sugar
5 Tbps. Butter
1 Tbsp. Vanilla extract
4 Eggs
1/2 Cup crushed almonds
1 ½ Cup ground cinnamon

Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 40 minutes
Total time: 50 minutes
Servings: 8

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Put eggs in a bowl and beat them well.
  2. Add brown sugar, butter, ground cinnamon, milk, vanilla extract, crushed almonds and mix well.
  3. Butter a baking dish sized about 9 x 13
  4. Cut bread slices into small cubes and place them in the baking dish.
  5. Now pour this mixture over the bread cubes in baking dish.
  6. Now place it in a preheat oven at 350 F degrees for 40 minutes.
  7. Serve with caramel sauce.

FOR MAKING CARAMEL SAUCE

1/2 Cup condensed milk
1/4 Cup skim milk
1/2 Teaspoon vanilla extract
1 Cup brown sugar
1/2 Cup butter
Pinch of salt

PREPARATION METHOD

  1. Put butter and brown sugar in a sauce pan.
  2. Stir over a burner until both get mixed.
  3. Turn off the burner when the solution becomes thick.
  4. Add condensed milk, skim milk and vanilla extract and stir thoroughly.
  5. Pour over the delicious bread pudding and serve.

Foot Note:
Do not overcook the sauce.
